View of Pasley Funeral Home Inc. The growth of Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home, Inc. in Thomaston can be traced back to 1893; when C. M. Pasley, Sr. operated the C. M. Livery, Feed and Sale Stable and decided to build caskets in advance, as a service to the families who had been renting his wagon and horses to transport their loved one to a cemetery for burial. In 1918, Mr. Pasley's son, C. M. "Charles" Pasley Jr., joined the firm. His wife, Jewell Barron Pasley became an active part of the business in 1921, and in 1937 the family business shifted away from the livery stable and now focused on the funeral home. In 1952, Charles and Jewell's daughter, Ann, married James H. "Jimmy" Fletcher of Molena. Three years later, Jimmy joined the staff of his father-in-law's business and in 1961; Pasley Funeral Home became Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home, Inc..

The business moved to its current location on North Church Street, 38 years ago, in 1972. This modern facility met the needs of a changing society, and solidified Pasley-Fletcher's position as a leader in service to the community.

We're Now Four Generations Strong

We're proud when we tell people that it's the fourth generation of Fletchers who own the business. Jim and Bob Fletcher continue to maintain the oldest business in the county (under continuous ownership by the same family) and continue the long tradition of service which stretches from the late 19th century, into the 21st century.

Pasley-Fletcher continues to use traditional funeral home values while integrating new technologies and customizing needs for families. We are progressive in personalizing a funeral service by offering an active website, pre-planning on-line, video tributes and other innovative personalization options. Our newest endeavor is our Funeral Resource Center, which offers families an opportunity to create a memorable, lasting personal tribute to their loved ones.
